| Biography | Dr Clark established PacificPlus Consulting with her husband Ross in 2006 following her retirment from a successful political career in Local and State government spanning 20years. As a member of the Queensland Labor government she served on several Ministerial and Parliamentary Commitees and contributed across a wide range of fields including the development of environmental policy and legislation. At the local level she contributed to a number of planning, environmental and community intiatives including the development of the Trinity Inlet Managememt Plan, indigenous management of Barron Gorge National Park, regional planning tools such as FNQ2010 and ecosystem restoration. Dr Clark has served on the Board of the Wet Tropics Management Authority and has recently been appointed to the Cape York Peninsula Region Scientific and Cultural Advisory Committee. As a director of Pacificplus Consulting Dr Clark has utilized and extended her skills working in the Asia Pacific region to build the capacity of existing and aspiring women political leaders. |
