Notice to renewable energy retailers and service providers – Sustainable Energy Financing Project.
The project is a GEF / World Bank funded project managed and administered in PNG by PNG Sustainable Energy. The project aims to significantly increase the adoption and use of renewable energy technologies by delivering a package of financial incentives to support the purchasing of renewable energy equipment. Technologies supported by the project include solar photovoltaic, pico-hydro power and switching diesel generators to run on coconut oil.
Retailers of renewable energy equipment that register and are approved, will have their products included in an accredited catalogue. These products will be eligible for financing through the project.
Renewable energy retailers are invited to express interest in registering with the Sustainable Energy Financing Project. Organisations with the capabilities to provide technical services are also invited to register.
