Project Impact:

The impact of the TA will be reduced environmental risk through improved environmental protection and better management of climate change risks.

Overall project value: USD$500,000

Project Name
Strengthening Institutional Capacity for Emergency Response to Food Crisis and Improving Food Security (Cambodia)

http://www.adb.org/Documents/ADBBO/AOTA/42186022.ASP

Project Impact:

The expected impact is reduced vulnerability of food-insecure households in Cambodia.

Three expected outputs are: (i) increased availability of food to vulnerable households; (ii) support the input needs of smallholders and marginal farmers; and (iii) an operational national food security response system.

This project is interesting in this respect. Although a full team will be employed, the individual International Team Leader, National Project Manager, and Procurement/Logistics Expert will be engaged directly by ADB. The rest of the team will be employed through a consulting firm bid.

The projected submission date is November, 08.
