$8m boost for JCU’s tropical ambitions
Friday, December 12th, 2008 by KathyRankinJames Cook University will receive almost $8 million over the next four years from the Commonwealth Government’s Diversity and Structural Adjustment Fund.
More than $5 million will be allocated to the establishment of the Cairns Institute which will be established in Cairns to provide a regionally unique international institute for advanced studies of human life in the tropics within a global context.
